Hi everyone. First time hop grower here in Southeastern, Mass. I grew cranberries on my property for 7 years and finally gave up. The soil conditions were poor for cranberries and a neighbor suggested hops. Last year I partnered with a local brewer and did a late planting of hops. I have 7 varieties started, some are doing better than others.
Thought I would post a picture of my Zeus from this morning. I don't have anything to compare them to but it appears my first year plants are doing very well! Hope to pick up alot from other growers here as I continue to march with this project. Paul
