Hey guys I'm new to this forum and not sure If I'm posting in the right section but maybe someone can help me out. I got a kegorator a few weeks ago and got a pony keg of bud lift put in. We'll I just got a cheap nostalgia kegorator and the pressure regulator sucked and beer line was only 3 ft. I ordered new regulator and longer beer line and finally got where it's makin good pours only problem is now the beer tastes like its way overcarbed. I've got it set low(around 6 psi) but I think it's overcarbed because of the faulty regulator I had on before. My question is how/if I can get it to where it's not overcarbed anymore without just having to buy a new keg.

1) Remove keg and detach gas and liquid lines.
2) Shake keg repeatedly
3) Wait 5 minutes
4) Purge excess gas
5) Repeat steps 2-4 until beer is at desired carb level
6) Return keg to kegerator
7) Connect gas and liquid lines
8) Pour properly carbonated Bud lift
