We are brewing an ipa. By the time we get to the fermenting stage we will be on vacation for a week and our apartment will be hot...over 80 degrees. Will we be able to ferment in the refrigerator during fermenting process ?

Over 80 will be way to warm! Fridge will be to cold unless you have a way to control the temp in the 60's. can you hold off on the brew until you get back home when you can control the temp better?

as works says, don't do it. it'll be pretty  by the time you get back, besides the fact it may blow off and make a big mess, especially at that temp
