New dip tube bulkhead istall ?'s

Alright, want to clarify and make sure I'm set on what to do before I start drilling into my new SS kettle.

I just got a weldless bulkhead with dip tube from brewhardware. Everything looks great.

My question is about how far off of the bottom of the kettle should the dip tube be once installed? It doesn't say in the instructions, and I've never used one.
