Hi all, so glad I found you all, so much great info. My first Covid panic purchase was homebrew cider kit in March. I'm on to about my 6th or 8th batch of cider. I've had great success with the cheap and more expensive brands, all flavours....but did have some explosions on one of the cheap ones. I get about 12x1.25ltr bottles and 24 stubbies. Should the sugar or glucose drops be dissolved or swirled through after capping? It's a very addictive and satisfying hobby and past time. Happy brewing fellow brewers.

When using carb drops/tablets, there's no need to "manually" dissolve them. They will slowly dissolve and the yeast will have no trouble finding the sugar.
