I'm in the process of moving, as well as this is my first posting anywhere ever on a forum. When I get more time in the next months and figure it all out, I'll post more photos and details of my version of The Brutus. I've taken the best ideas from many fellow brewers and put them in one package for my needs. Thanks to everyone for the help and inspiration.
One of my top goals was to keep the design as clean as possible. Yes, it could be cleaner, but after having a kid my time has disappeared as well as money. In the end there were some compromises in the design and there are some things I would do differently if starting over. The frame is 304 SS. Basically this sucker uses safety valves with control loops on the MT and HLT, while the boil kettle is just wide open.
