Im curious if anyone has any experience with this brand of carboy. I found a couple of the 50L size for a great price but don't know much about them, whether the mouth is the same size of a typical conical.

I know they're very expensive new but $30 each sounds like a pretty good price.

For some reason my hands were typing conical when my eyes were seeing carboy. In any event; https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/spo/5864966952.html

After considering the listed price it's doubtful one would use one of these at that price. I decided to just go ahead and meet this afternoon to purchase provided they haven't been holding anything hinky.

Thats awfully pricey for a plastic jug... I paid less for my 12.5gallon stainless conical with butterfly valve and hardware a year ago... is there anything special about it that could justify the higher cost than the cheap plastic larger fermenters most home brew stores carry? it does not appear easy to clean either.. especially the insides of the handles if they are not solid.

Handles are solid. I'll clean it the same way I wash my kegs and and drums & such using my cip ball & pump. I paid $40 for both. I think the reason they are so expensive is because they are autoclaveable. Not that I need that but reckon hot water won't hurt em eh?
