Gruit-heads? Is that a thing?

Carpenter's Herbal is a small Eastern Ontario wild herb producer. We focus on a limited number of specialty botanicals, including beautiful Myrica gale (Bog Myrtle to some) for home and craft brewers. We're serious about producing high-quality botanicals. Our Myrica gale is perfectly dried to maximize color and aroma. It's beautiful stuff.

We just brought in this year's harvest, so until August 12th we're offering 15% off (of our pretty reasonable prices) for homebrewtalk.com members. Use the code HBT15-MYR18.

Here's the page for our Sweet Gale.

Do you guys ship to the UK? If so, for how much?

We're happy to ship to the UK, but shipping gets pricey fast. All of these prices are in $CAD.

1. Air Mail,
up to 1/2 lb: $20.00
1 lb: $40.00

2. Surface Mail (if you can wait a month or more)
up to 1/2 lb: $15.00
1 lb: $22.00

Neither of the above options include tracking. As soon as tracking is involved, minimum shipping is $45.00. If you're looking for more than 1 lb of Sweet Gale, the prices leap up to $100 - $150. We pass on shipping costs with little or no mark-up.

Please bear in mind that we cannot account for duties or import taxes that you may be charged.

Regards,

Chris.

Myrica gale is surprisingly hard to find, even at otherwise pretty comprehensive herb shops. Good to have a resource!
