Anyone taken out the beer-side back flow preventer? One with the ball.

Yes? I do that for cleaning and filling Sankes. Not sure what the confusion is about.

I see, you just pull the little plastic thingy out along with the ball. I was afraid I was going to break something.

I use it for filling sanke kegs, but you still have to pull the air side check valve as well. Why?
