microbrewery bottlecans?

Why haven't I seen any bottlecans from microbreweries? They seem like a good alternative to glass bottles and canning by hand is a possibility for start up production.

I have seen cider bottled in them. I cant imagine they are more affordable than bottles though, and they still require a bottling line. The appeal for cans on the business side of things is that they are more affordable than bottles, the downside is they require new equipment and its more difficult to purchase small amounts of cans.
