What do you call someone who makes mead? Its not a brewer right? Fermenter maybe? surely its not Meader. Been racking (lol) my brain all day trying to find the right phrase.

I don't know if I've heard a more appropriate/official term for it than "meadmaker".

Not saying such a term doesn't exist.

Maybe there is a shorter or a more interesting sounding label in another language?

Isn't a monger someone who sells something as in cheese monger, fish monger.. Mead maker is good enough for me (The word "mazer" is used by some but a mazer is the drinking vessel mead was drunk from in some places , and not the craftsperson who made the mead).

Interesting, I found a natural spring a while back, it was up the mountain a way and I would always drink from it as a kid, the freshest best tasting water I've ever had. I still had some in a bottle and decided to send it to the college lab to get it tested to see what was in it and if it was actually safe to drink or if I was just beating the odds. Turns out its 100% fine and packed with minerals.

the question I have, When making mead with this kind of water, is there a name for using the same sort of flavor profile like a signature?
