"Me Too" and the smearing of Woody Allen

I would never have started this thread had I known someone I find absolutely loathsome and contemptible was going to speak out against the Me Too movement. I have not found the actual quote, but I suspect that it includes the assertion that there are many fine rapists..... As a result I have removed all of the text except the original link.

The so called "Me Too" movement creates an environment where the accuser is automatically believed. She may believe as childhood fantasy is likely the case with Farrow, or worse yet she may simply be out to destroy someone. Forgive me for using "she", as the gender of the victim and perpetrator could be either. This is the classic bandwagon much like the red scare of the 50's. It's a time when we need to avoid passing judgment in the court of public opinion in the absence of real and conclusive evidence. Lives and careers are at stake, and that's no small thing.
