Unflavored, of course.
I see wildly varying prices on maltodextrin, especially in the nutritional supplement
section of Amazon.

My grain shop is out of stock right now, and I want to get some pronto.
Here's what I'm thinking of getting, but want your opinions first:

Woof, pricey. And the "Indie Beauty" site makes me wonder what their customers do with it?
Anyway, there's not much to maltodextrin, I would expect you'd get exactly what you want...

Cheers!

Maltodextrin is [-glucose-]n with 2 < n < 20 thus it's properties can vary quite a bit. Short chain stuff is likely to be sweetish. Longer chain stuff probably mostly flavorless. I think the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Stay away from the 'health' stuff. That's pretty much a rip off.
