I have a Hefeweizen extract kit and want to make a blood orange Hefeweizen out of it. What would the best way to infuse the beer with blood orange flavor? Zest during the boil? Zest during the secondary? Any other ideas? I am making this as a going away gift for someone who loves the ellicotville brewing company's blood orange hefeweizen. Any help would be great.

I have a blood orange Belgian Wit that is in secondary right now. I used this blood orange puree. Brewed the wit per usual recipe, kept it in primary for a week, then poured the blood orange puree in secondary and racked the beer onto it. After another day or two (7 or 8 total), it'll go in the keg.
