Maine Beer Company - HARVESTABLE!

I had been scowering the internets for information on this company because I recently poured one of their Lunch IPAs into a pint glass and the last little bit came out hazy.

This intrigued me and after poking around and finally asking the brewery, they got back to me.

We don't filter our beers. Thanks for drinking!

So anytime you find yourself throwing back anything from MBC, have a sterilized vial clsoe by. I am not sure what they use, I believe it to maybe be Chico due to the style of their beers, but either way, HARVEST ON!

I think its a more attentuative Chico from what I have read. I am thinking maybe something closer to Pacman. Either way good to know, now maybe I can justify the 6-7 dollar a bottle price if I am getting some yeast out of it.
