Made me a mash paddle

Decided to make myself a mash paddle. Think I did a pretty good job. 33" long paddle is 4" wide and 15" long. Just figure out my hole pattern and how to round of the edges on the handle and shaft. Any advice on that?View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1434945070.271962.jpg

I sketched out a pattern on mine then drilled with a 1" spade bit. Drilled from both sides so as to avoid splintering. Rounded & contoured the paddle with a rasp, file and sandpaper. I tapered the blade much like a canoe paddle. I left mine, red oak, unfinished.

Have a dremel? They make a corner-routering bit for it.
