I only used 20' of copper tubing and am now thinking I should have gone bigger. I'm planning on using it with my 8 gallon aluminum pot (full boils). Am I right?

It will work...but not as fast as one with more length of copper. It is an easy fix however if you want to make it longer. A coupler...some solder and viola.

Try using it as is and see if you need to improve it. Make sure to stir while chilling, that will make all the difference in the world.

I have a 25 foot one and works great for 5 gallon batches... Like above make sure to stir...my wort goes from too hot to touch coming out of the chiller to cold and then when I stir back to too hot...
