Today I was installing my 4600w heating element. when I realise my tank is 775 mm inside. and I have a hop basket 500 mm. This leave me 275/2 = 5.4 inches. now the outer connection is is TC. so I belivedd is 2 inches .( will have to measure it) that gives me 7.4 . so is there anything aronud 5 to 6 inches that manage 220 and develop 4600 wats?

I doubt it, my 1500 watt high density elements are 6" long.

why not use a simple false bottom to keep everything off the elements in the kettle?

my tack is hughe see photos
