Loose Blow-off tube help

I have a 1" OD blow-off tube and a 1" hole in my bucket lid. It doesn't seem quite as tight of a fit as I'd like. Any suggestions?

Wrap a few layers of electrical tape around the hose, that should get it a few mils wider to seal the hole completely.
