I did the powdered "homemade PBW" from the thread here on the forum, and it works really great so I don't need anything right now, but in the future I would be interested in something economical for CIP when this runs out.

From the bottles I've seen it's liquid "TSP substitute" and is Sodium Metasilicate. I've made the homemade PBW too and both this, in powdered form, and Oxyclean are part of the recipe. If you look up the thread of the PBW recipe you could find out what it actually does in cleaning equipment.
