Been brewing for a few years, but got some LME for the first time. Read a few places that said it's beat stored between 50-70. My storage room is 85ish at the moment.

Could I put it in my fridge with no ill effects? I got it from an inline shop and it came in sealed, 3lb clear plastic bags. The plastic is very thick, if that changes anything.

I'll be using it in about 2 weeks time, so it's not like it'll be sitting around for months.

Cool storage in the refrigerator would be the best to hold it as fresh as possible. LME doesn't have preservatives added like pancake syrup which is usually kept in the pantry at room temperature.

Fridge is great. Just make sure you take it out and let it warm up for a couple hours on brewday. It's impossible to pour that stuff when it's cold.
