Let’s Clarify the IPA space

I’ll add to that and share with you this article from our local Minnesota brew mag. IPA as a category has become muddied and unrecognizable as a category. What do you think?

Maybe the hazy beers need their own category. That is up to others. For me I don't always brew to guidelines. Though I pick a style to use as a guide for the IBU, color, gravity etc sliders in Beersmith so I have an idea what I am getting. If I want something where one of those goes outside of style? I don't care. For instance, making a Porter and get a color that is too low using the ingredients I want....
