My brew buddy got a new kegerator with a 2 tap tower on top of it (god I hate that guy). It will hold 3 cornies and he's looking to get a third tap add one more for the top of the tower. He'd also like to put a regulator with 2 secondaries in there, one pressure for carbing and one for serving (with a splitter). Like this:

The issue is that the hump is on the left side of the fridge and since the regulator goes off to the left as well, a dual secondary regulator won't fit with the third keg. So the question is, can you pull off the high pressure gauge and switch it with the stem so the regulator goes off to the right side of the tank? My understanding is that the horizontal holes on the regulator body are the high pressure one and the vertical ones are the low. Anyone ever done this or know of a reason not to?
I suggested this as an option over buying a remote secondary to mount in the back like this: http://morebeer.com/view_product/16194//Secondary_Regulator_-_2_Way
Thanks in advance for the help.
