After mashing at 65C and then mashing out for 10 minutes at at 75C, I set my Anvil Foundry to boil and got distracted and did not remove the malt pipe/mash until it hit 83C (this probably took 20 mins).
What's the likely consequence of this? Was this long enough to have extracted Tannins and made the beer astringent?
