I'm attempting my first lager. Doing the Brooklyn Lager clone from the Dec 2011 BYO and using my ghetto Son of Fermentation Chiller (another post someday!). Recipe says that when fermentation is close to finishing (thinking 10 days or so) I'll do a d-rest for a couple days, and then lager. My question is that I'm planning on lagering in my beer fridge, I don't think I can fit a carboy in there, would it be ok to "secondary" in a corny keg and then just hook up the gas to carb up after that? Not sure if it's important to secondary and then rack off again before "kegging"

Yes, a corny keg is a perfect lagering vessel! The only thing I would caution against is hooking the tap up to it while it's lagering. I noticed that by the time I was officially done lagering, the beer was 1/3 gone!
