Lactose Powder

Hey guys,

I have read and heard that adding lactose powder to the beer will give it a nice creamy feeling and will increase the body of the beer. I am looking to make a stout but have no means of finding some lactose powder for myself.

I live in Montreal (Canada).

I have asked around and nobody seems to know where to find it. I have also looked online but havn't had any luck. Where do you guys find youselves some lactose powder or do you know a place online where I could order some ?

Most homebrew shops have it. Hippie marts and such with a bulk section are likely to have it, too.

If all else fails, just hit up your favorite online brew supply store.

Yeah, most homebrew stores should carry it. Although lactose is powdery, it's most commonly called lactose, or lactose sugar.
