labels left on bottles

While this is definitely not advisable, I will share anyway. On my first batch, not knowing any better, I left the labels on my bottles. They were stuck on so good they did not peel off when I washed them or when I soaked them in star san. Anyway, there were no adverse effects to the beer.

I have since learned enough to soak them overnight in oxyclean...works great.

I've left the labels on for years and I've reused the bottles countless times. Only in the last 2 batches did I remove them, with Oxyclean as you found out.
