I think I stalled my blue raspberry melomel.

pH reading is at 3.0, which is too low for yeast (from what I understand, they don't like it lower than 3.4.). I added some calcium carbonate, and since it was its schedule for nutrient, it got some DAP and fermaid K too.

Am I just done here? I don't know if I can get the acidity above 3.4 without dumping in more calcium carbonate.

Also I did a SpGr reading, 0.998 from 1.032 so it is possible it's just done fermentation right now. (maybe should have done the reading before adding nutrient/CaCo3, but didn't think it'd be done in 7 days)

3.0 isn't a disaster. If you're at 0.998 it's done.

Yeah as I was writing my post it occured to me that I should have done a measurement first. Didn't expect it to be done so soon so I ended up measuring it as an after thought. Wouldn't have added to it if I had done so first.

You live, you learn.

Most of my meads are at 1.0 area at 6 days so it's not surprising, just make a note to double check s.g. before adding nutrient. Not a loss but you might taste something. Have you sampled yet or not?

Agreed. With a multiple addition nutrient schedule, most of my meads (even big boys) reach terminal gravity within 5-7 days. Not saying they're done then, but FG is reached.

Yeah I sampled, it tastes fine.
