I just grabbed a 30 LB keg to make a boil pot, I dont know how to get the pick up tube out, cant find it on a certain tube video site, help! the center doesn't depress the ring around the outside of the center pin does, if the pic I added shows, its a type A valve scroll down the page.

OK! so here's what I found out for anyone who might stumble on this and want to know.
The center pin in the valve actually turns clockwise with pliers and a struggle, it will disengage a lock plate below it and come loose, but not out.
The outside mount ring should unscrew, but in my case they placed a spring clip in the neck fitting before it was screwed on, when screwed on it clips into a groove in the thread path more or less making it a lock preventing the valve body from being unscrewed or removed, unless you can break it.
So to say the least, if you are planing on producing a mash tun or brew kettle with this style of keg then skip trying to remove the valve to center anchor your angle grinder for a nice cut.
You know you have to engineer something to do it anyway.

Have a great day! Cheers!
