I just received a new keg from AIH (homebrewing.org). $75 is a good deal. Other than the usual cleaning with PBW or StraightA, do new kegs require special cleaning to remove manufacturing oils, etc.?

Edit: Just heard back from AIH about my question posted here.
"Answer: You should clean and sanitize the keg prior to use. We recommend tearing it down and using PBW for cleaning, you should soak the posts and poppets as well. You can use Star San or Iodophor to sanitize prior to filling."

Agreed. I always break mine down and soak them in Star-San before every fill--poppets, dip tube etc. I always smear on some new Vaseline too. I found that a wall-paper glue tray works well for this. It's long enough to fit the dip tube and all components and not so wide that you use too much sanitizer. I think that you can get away with about 1 - 1.5 Gallons. Go to Sherwin Williams.
