Hello , new here and I just got two bottles of barley wine from a local craft brewery , I've herd on here some beers get better with age ? I'm gonna drink one bottle this year and I'm thinking of saving the other one for next year ? Where and how should I keep them ( if I can with this style ? )

Store in a cool place (50s or 60s), which does not fluctuate too much.

Too hot, and the beer could be ruined (80s+ for a while).

Too cold and it will not mature. The colder the beer, the more stable it will stay.

A Barleywine should age fine.

Keep out of direct light.

Thanks lots , so maybe wrap it in a dark bag or cloth to block the light , then keep it in the bottom of a cold closet since its winter ? Then put into fridge in summer to keep it cool still wrapped up ?
