I am making a 10 gallon double batch of Northern Brewer's Brickwarmers ale with a 1.062 OG. I would like to double my starter with 2 packs of wyeast london ale and double DME and water and place on a stir plate and brew on Sat. Any help would be great.

A higher gravity starter or a larger volume? Starter size (volume) depends on the gravity of the beer. Mr.malty calculator will help. 2 packets of yeast are not necessary but it won't hurt anything.

I think you are OK to do this since you are doubling everything (yeast, DME, water).

If you had more time you could have used on packet and stepped it up to 2L, i.e. pitch the pack into 1L, then add 2nd liter a few days after, saving yourself a few bucks.

I have a one gallon growler that I am going to start the yeast in on a stir plate. I am making 2, 5 gallon batches
Thanks
