Is anyone here a Sommelier?????

Just wondering if anyone here is been crowned a certified Sommelier???? If anyone has taken and wine mastery classes. I find the art of winemaking and even creation of any kind of alcohol amazing. I would love to just take some wkend classes to learn more about the art of winemaking. If anyone knows of any such classes or place to look for this let me know.

Kent State University runs an extension out of Geneva OH. You can get education on grape cultivation and wine making.

Outside of that, check into local wine clubs. You can learn a lot by talking to seasoned members.

Some home brew supply shops holds seminars to get amateurs started in wine making.

UC-Davis also has a full complement of courses, but not sure if any can be taken online/off campus.
