Hey there, just wondering if anyone was done an IPA/IPL with wlp 862, charlie papazian's strain. Fermentation temps can handle up to 58, which is perfect for my basement/root cellar, so I was thinking of doing my first "lager" using this yeast. Anyone have any experience with this yeast? Should i just go for it? dont have a recipe yet, just the threads of an idea.
