Hi folks,

I'm planning to brew a 5 gallon batch of a "two hearted" IPA clone. (Northern Brewer's Dead Ringer

This beer will be for my son's and daughter in law's wedding, which will be on the tail end of this July (2017).

How long can this extract batch, that I'm making, hang around before it loses its hoppiness. I recall hearing that after a while that will fade.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Greg

I'd brew 2-3 weeks before it is to be served - assuming that you are kegging. You want it as young as possible, but need enough time to cold condition / carb.

Thank you for your reply. It was very kind of you to do so.

I'm going to be bottling this batch, so carbonation time will be different (any suggestions there?)

Ihad a feeling that it had to be young.

5-7 weeks before you need should be good. Assuming 3 weeks to bottle condition.
