So. im trying to make a new recipe from scratch. (last time i was so retarded i forgot to write down what i used. And hops.. well i just eyeballed how much to add....) and well it was a really delicious beer.
So. This is going to be a Belgian golden ale, And im using a package of abbey dry yeast i got for free to test out.
The hops im thinking of using are
Saaz 0.52 oz at 60 min
EKG 0.35 oz at 60 min
Saaz 0.35 oz at 30 min
EKG 0.70 oz at 30 min
Halltrauer 0.17 oz at 10 min
I've never brewed this style before. But i dont know if this would be too much for an golden ale, and, or this would reach more into beeing an IPA instead, Due to the fair amount of hops.
Grainbill would probably give me an OG of 1.080++
If someone can give me some input on this?
For reference:
I have the above, and Cascade, Citra, and centinental hops stored if this would be better for this style?
