So I will be wiring in my ITC-1000 to my standup restaurant fridge this weekend per my earlier post. Thank you to all the amazing experts here that walked me through that.
Now a different question:
I purchase 2x 5.0 CU FT Magic Chef deep freezers as my beer FERM chambers. 1x freezer for each of my Brew Buckets so I can maintain specific temperatures for each batch. I purchased 2x ITC-308 external controllers for maintaining the temp in each of these units. Is it better for the life of the unit to hard wire an ITC-1000? Or is it ok to just use the ITC-308 for power cycling of the unit to maintain temp?
