AKA mandatory newb beer question.

This is a Belgian blonde ale with tart cherries added (after primary fermentation finished). Whole cherries were doused with iodine sanitizer, frozen, thawed, and crushed before being added.

I tasted a sample drawn from under the cherry layer and it seemed fine. Fermentation bucket has a bit of a solventy odor, though.

Looks weird to me. Thoughts?

It'll probably be stuck in this bucket another 2 weeks, since I only keg and it'll take about that long to free up a keg.

Looks kinda filmy. Could be a pellicle. I'm not saying it IS infected, but it looks like it could be. Hard to tell sometimes from pictures.

I'll defer to more experienced brewers.

pellicle, that would be my guess too. Not that beer will be undrinkable, it will just have a different taste. Last time I used Brett B looked the same. More sour
