imperial octoberfest

Ive found an imperial octoberfest from austin homebrew..comes in at 7.9% alcohol from extract,as opposed ti regular octoberfest that usually under or at 5%..wat makes imperial so much more potent? Kore grain? How would I convert to mini mash or all grain?

Adding more grain to the same finishing volume will increase the amount of fermentable sugars, and increase the amount of alcohol produced. AHB Usually has Extract/Partial Mash/All Grain options for their recipes.
