Here is my first try at an Imperial Black Rye IPA (Black Eye Rye). Interested in what other brewers think.

Batch Size: 10.50 gal
Boil Time: 60 min
O.G. 1.087
Fermentation: Wyeast Rogue 1764 Pacman
Mash temp: 154F


24 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row)
5 lbs Rye Malt 14.2 %
2 lbs Barley, Flaked 3 5.7 %
2 lbs Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L 5.7 %
1 lbs 8.0 oz Carafa III 4.3 %
12.0 oz Black (Patent) Malt 2.1 %

4.00 oz Calypso [14.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min First Wart Hop
2.00 oz Mosaic [12.00 %] - 0 min (whirlpool 15min)
2.00 oz Mosaic [12.00 %] - Dry Hop 7.0 Days Hop 11 0.0 IBUs
