What do you think of using an immersed plate chiller with cold water circulation for fermentation temperature control.
The wort, obviously, won't be circulated.

Did anyone tried that?

As long as you can keep an airtight seal into the fermentation vessel and have an accurate way to estimate the temperature of the beer it should work like a charm, I would think.
