As required by the Rules and Regs, I'm posting an intro. I live in Seattle, and previously Portland, two brew meccas. I love coffee, beer, wine, cocktails, cheese, bread, and pasta. And bacon.

I have no brewing experience. I plan on going straight to all grain brewing. I've read a lot about it, and there are some really great videos on youtube.

Going to brew a DFH 60 min clone. I've yet to make the 5 cal cooler mash tun.

This is an amazing site. Thanks to everyone who keeps it going.

Welcome RG to the forum! You do live in a great part of the country for homebrewing, and just beer appreciation in general. Best of luck to you.

Welcome.....I've been to Seattle and Portland and enjoyed many fine adult malt beverages.
If you do a DFH anything for your first brew, you should put a notch on your keg!
Enjoy the obsession.
