I'm running into a discrepancy between beersmith on my IPAD and on my PC. I'm ready to brew, but don't want to ruin a batch obviously. Here's the recipe and my planned steps:
Grains - 1.6oz black patent malt, 7oz crystal 60, 14oz crystal 10
Steep Grains in 2.5 Gals water @ 155 Degrees for 30 mins
Add 2 Gallons water previously mixed with 1 Lb Pale LME
(4.5 gals boil)
Bring to boil
When you see the first bubble, start 30 minute timer

20 Mins Remaining - Add .2oz centennial hops and .3oz amarillo hops
15 Minutes Remaining - Add 7oz brown sugar
10 Minutes Remaining - Add .8 oz Centennial Hops and 1oz amarillo hops
At 30 minutes, flame out, remove hops, and add 1 Gallon water previously mixed with 6 Lbs Pale LME

On my PC I see 31.6 IBU, but on my IPAD I see 42.3

I don't want to make a hop bomb out of this (sorry hop lovers), but I also don't want a malt bomb. Please help lol

If the recipe is the same on both and all your settings for the batch and in the control panel are the same...beats me for now.

Let me think about it for a while. Hopefully someone else will have an idea.

I hope so cuz I'm stumped and have a pot on the burner. :( didn't notice the issue til now

Thanks for the help Jon, I found it... for some reason I had different times for my last hop additions. Not sure how I did that or how I missed it, but glad I caught it! Thanks again.
