I was wondering if it was possible to use strawberry guava, passion fruit, or dragon fruit.

If anyone ever tried it how did you prepare the fruit. And how good did it come out.

I would check out the "Game of Thrones Mead" thread. There a few meads that have been started with some of those fruits.

I started a "Mother of Dragons GoT Mead" this last weekend with Dragon fruit, Horn mellon, raspberries, and jalapeno. No idea how its going to turn out. This is my first real mead (made JAOM that turned out great).

The only one I'm familiar with, is passion fruit.

All I'd say is.......

Don't forget, once fruit has been fermented in primary, it will change flavour completely.

If that's what you're aiming for, fine.

If you want a flavour that resembles the original fruit taste more closely, then either all the fruit in secondary or 1/3rd in primary and the rest in secondary......
