I am developing a brown ale recipe.
Partial extract recipe

Tell me what you guys think. I want some critiquing here.

This is for a 5 gallon recipe.

IT looks good .

The black Patent is the only thing I may leave out . It will be brown enough without it and it may add a hint of bitter to the beer .

The crystal could be bumped up to Crystal 120 instead of 60.
 
i thought about maybe putting 4 ounces of crystal 120 a day or so ago for a bit of complexity. but i don't know.
 
4-8 oz of 120 will add some color and depth to it and you could leave the 60 in too.
 
ok. thanks a lot. I made up my mind. I'm going to leave out the black patent and put in 4 ounces of crystal 120.
I know that it will come out good if I do all the steps right.

I ought to be brewing this soon. I'll probably put up professional looking pictures since my dad has a nice camera i'll borrow hehe
