Does this look like mold? If so, am I screwed? I'm talking about the white specs/clusters in the following pics, not the Krausen stains.

Thanks for any help

The tiny specs on top look like yeast grains to me. The rest is just krausen leftovers, like "ring around the collar!".

If you've been using clean equipment and have been sanitizing thoroughly, you have nothing to worry about.

good luck on your brew!

Looks fine, but man I hate to clean those containers after it's all over........gross mess.........

To clean
1. Fill with Hot water
2. Add a scoop of oxyclean (I use the generic dollar store one)
3. Leave it overnight when you dump it the am it will be clean probably won't even need any scrubbing :mug:

I ended up trying the beer (it's a Berliner), and it's flippin delicious. Wonderfully tart and pretty much exactly how I wanted it to taste. I kegged that sucker and I'll be drinking it by the pint soon.

I rarely freak out and go "MY BATCH IS RUINED!!", and now I remember why :tank:
