I will admit that his stout was pretty good. He's awfully hairy, though. Much hairier in person. Wil, not Soper.

Wil Wheaton, the gauntlet has been thrown. Imperial Stout aged with blackberries & raspberries in oak. this may be a sour stout. you must do this. it is your mission.

we're out of season for fresh berries in my area, but I don't think that's going to stop me from brewing a trial run. I'll even post the recipe with updates. you hear this, Wil Wheaton?:rockin:

this is what I'm thinking so far. it will most likely change a time or two before I actually brew it. and was thinking 3/4 pounds of raspberries and 1/2 pounds blackberries per gallon.

on a side note: I used to hang out with this guy, Max Supera, we called Tic Tac in Las Vegas. he was a trad skin. he was also on an episode of Star Trek: Next Generation when he was a kid. he was something in charge of radishes or something.

Hahaha, I asked the same question when we were at the NHC and one of the guys from HBT I was hanging out with was all "There he is!" "let's go drink his beer!" and "Take my picture!". I said, "WHAT in the heck is wrong with you? Who is this guy? Why is is beer so awesome that we're supposed to go over there again and again?"
(WW is a homebrewer, and actually has been on this forum a few times.....)
and he told me. I still had no clue at all. But then he said, "You know! You know! The kid in 'Stand By Me'!" And then I know who it was.
But he looks alot different now than when he was 12, and I still didn't recognize him.
Did I mention he is very nice, but he's also very hairy? He wasn't hairy in "Stand By Me".
