So after hearing for about the 10 millionth time about how much my wife dislikes my kegerator, I am working on a new design. I thought I would run the latest idea by the forum. She wants the kegerator to have a smaller footprint, so I was thinking about getting a cold plate in a water bath with the posts out of the water and placing it in a a 1.7 cu ft refrigerator. This way I could enclose the kegs in an old armoire and run the lines to the fridge. Any views on how well it would work? I imagine that the first few pours would be fine, and I could replace the the water bath with ice in the case of the party.
