Came up with it don't have a lot of room to brew so I've been doing 1.75 gal recipes. Here goes
2lb 2 row
.75 lb crystal 40
.5 oz nugget at 60m
.5 oz nugget at 10m
north yeast.
Mash 170 for 60
sparge 190 for?

I don't have a all grain setup so I do biab. I was planning on sparging with the grain bag in a collander and pouring the sparge over the grain to rinse it. I don't have brewsmith or anything like that but I think I should add another lb of base malt. What do the brew masters think. I usually brew by the seat of my pants to figure out a recipe.

2 rows needs to be mashed (and crushed/cracked prior). Otherwise it'll just add non-fermentable starch to the beer.

0.75 lbs of Crystal 40L is quite a bit in such a small batch. I wouldn't use much more than 1 lb in 5.0 gallons, so in your case, probably around 0.3 lbs for your 1.75 gal batch.

Mashing is done at 146-158F. Sparging is done at 170F.
