I’m bored and want to try to brew a ”Pilsner” with Kveik Voss. Just bottled a Kveik IPA last night (tasted nice and was quite clear). My heating pad I ordered to set a carboy on won’t be here till middle of next week. If I pitch at 90 and wrap in a thick sweatshirt will it hold a temp above 80 for 3-4 days? I brew 1 gallon batches. My house stays at 72.

I tried this with Oslo Kveik in my 66 degree basement this spring - it didn't work. Hooked up the heat pad, away it went. With only one yeast have I seen significant differences between ambient and fermentation temps (Wyeast 3739 PC), but that's just my experience.
